An Invitation

Granville Friends Meeting is a welcoming and affirming worship community.

“Be patterns, be examples in all…places…wherever you come, that your carriage and life may preach among all sorts of people, and to them; then you will come to walk cheerfully over the world answering that of God in every one.”
—George Fox, 1656

We are an unprogrammed Quaker Meeting. We gather every First Day (Sunday) at 10:00 A.M. in silent worship, listening “for the still, small voice that comes from God through the Inward Light.” Every 3rd First Day of the month, Meeting for Worship is followed by Meeting for Business and potluck. During Meeting for Worship, young Friends attend First Day School.

Children of any age (infants included) are always welcome at weekly Meeting.

Our “meetinghouse” is the Denison University Religious Life Center at  204 N. Mulberry St., Granville, Ohio 43023. (See map at the bottom of this page). The facility is handicapped accessible.

On months with a 5th Sunday, Granville Friends Meeting worships at Kendal at Granville, 2158 Columbus Road, Granville, Ohio 43023 at 10 A.M.

For more information about our Quaker faith, go to at the Friends General Conference website.
